The key to the development of Quakerism is the understanding of corporate guidance, which tests and informs individual leadings. At the heart of this is the meeting for worship where Christ, the Inward Light, is present and is met.
                                                           Faith and Practice (Britain Yearly Meeting)

Established in 1924, Ararat Friends Meeting is a programmed meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, commonly called Quakers. We are located in west-central North Carolina, in the foothills of  the Blue Ridge Mountains. Please take your time and browse our Website.                               Meeting for Worship: 11 A.M.

                                Sunday School: 10 A.M.

Directions from Winston-Salem, NC: From Hwy. 52 N, take the Cook School Rd. Exit (Exit 136) Turn Left. Go approximately 0.2 miles, bear Right at the fork. Cook School Rd. becomes Old US 52. Go 1.3 miles. Turn Left and stay left onto Ararat Rd. for 2.8 miles. The Meeting House is on the right hand side. Drive time, approx. 50 minutes. See contact information below.
